ID3 tag is missing

Modified on Tue, 20 Oct at 9:57 AM

ID3 is a metadata container most often used in conjunction with the MP3 audio file format. It allows information such as the title, artist, album, track number, and other information about the file to be stored in the file itself.

If a validator says your ID3 tag is missing, add the tags to your MP3 with an ID3 tag editor before you upload it. RSS.com keeps the ID3 tags of an MP3 you upload but doesn't add any. For an episode you already published, replace its audio with the tagged file.

The lack of the ID3 Tag is not an impediment on most platforms to add your feed. If you have any problem adding your feed to any platform through this tag, write us.
